The Reds host Inter Miami for their final game at BMO this season. This will be the 2nd time TFC have ran into Pozuelo since his blockbuster trade in July. In the previous match, hosts Inter Miami managed a tight 2-1 win despite Insigne’s 27th minute volley masterclass. Toronto played well enough to get the draw or arguably a scrappy win, if it wasn’t for a costly mistake in the 23rd minute by TFC goalkeeper Alex Bono on an outside the box screamer straight at him from Jean Mota.
TFC’s starting XI:
Hopefully there’s still some zest on the wings with nothing being at play after TFC was eliminated from playoff contention. Frankly, I’m a little surprised Insigne and Bernardeschi are both playing.
