The biggest game of the year is approaching. Las Vegas will host the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs who are seeking their third championship in the last five years. They’ll be squaring off against the hungry NFC champion San Francisco 49ers who are out for revenge against the Chiefs from Super Bowl LIV.
These two teams have plenty talent and absolute game-changing players on both sides on the ball, as it will make for an entertaining game. The big attraction towards the game has led the public to wager an estimated $23.1 billion towards the Super Bowl. Now if you want to get on the action but are having a tough time deciding which team is going to win, don’t worry here are some player props that you can place without having to worry who’s going to win.
George Kittle (TE, San Francisco 49ers), Over 0.5 Touchdowns (+190 on Fanduel, $10 bet wins $19)
“I will be back here, I will be back here, with vengeance,” a defeated George Kittle said on the sidelines, after losing to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl back in 2020. He has his chance on Sunday, Kittle scored six touchdowns during the regular season, and added another one in the divisional game vs the Packers. Kittle is 2nd on the 49ers in red zone targets only behind Christian McCaffrey. If the Chiefs, are able to stop the run in the red zone and force the 49ers to pass, look for the Chiefs defence to take a focus on McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, leaving the opportunity for Brock Purdy to find Kittle in the end zone to score and fulfil his promise to himself.
Isiah Pacheco (HB, Kansas City Chiefs), Over 15.5 Rush Attempts (-122 on Fanduel, $10 bet wins $8.22)
The Chiefs workhorse lead-back has been playing the best football of his young career in the playoffs. The Chiefs have been utilizing the run with Pacheco in the backfield, as so far in the playoffs he’s recorded 24, 15, and 24 rush attempts in the first three games of the playoffs. The 49ers run defence has been skeptical with their four down front as they have given up in the playoffs 130 and 182 rushing yards in their two games in the playoffs. Aaron Jones in the divisional game vs 49ers had 18 carries, and David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combined for 27 carries in the conference championship game. Look for the Chiefs to establish the run early and often and feed Pacheco, to be able to open up the passing game.
Isiah Pacheco (HB, Kansas City Chiefs), Over 0.5 Touchdowns (-120 on Fanduel, $10 bet wins $8.33)
This is an extension of the previous bet, Pacheco has been an absolute beast in the redzone scoring a touchdowns in all three postseason games, as well as having one in last year’s Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles. The 2nd year running back out of the University of Rutgers has a very hard unique running style that us football fans have never really seen, this style of running have proven to be very helpful towards his game as he is tough to bring down and he always fights for the extra yards. I see the Chiefs being able to use his abilities in the redzone and he will do the rest, and the odds were getting are too good to pass on.
Rashee Rice (WR, Kansas City Chiefs), Over 67.5 Receiving yards (-110 on Fanduel, $10 bet wins $9.09)
Despite the poor performance that the public has seen over the season from the Chiefs wide receivers room, the one spotlight was the rookie out of SMU Rashee Rice. The 2nd round pick has been an explosive playmaker that Patrick Mahomes has relied on. Rice has big play potential all over him when he has the ball in his hands. Coach Andy Reid will draw up certain plays to try and get the ball into his playmaker hands and let Rice’s speed gain yards. In last year’s Super Bowl we saw Mahomes rely on JuJu Smith-Schuster who was the wide receiver one for them, I see Rice now in that same role as the 49ers will focus on Kelce allowing the chances for Rice to be there.
Kyle Juszczyk (FB, San Francisco 49ers), Over 0.5 Touchdowns (+950 on Fanduel, $10 bet wins $95)
Now this play is an absolute longshot, so I would not recommend hammering this play. But there is such nice value on the odds for Juszczyk to find the end zone. For a starter in the Kyle Shanahan offence Juszczyk will find himself on the field in the redzone, Shanahan may have a play or two up his sleeve to catch the Chiefs off guard to get the ball to his fullback. Juszczyk did also have a touchdown against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl back in 2020. Juszczyk was able to get himself involved in the conference championship game with two receptions for 33 yards as well as getting a carry in the redzone. If you want to just bet on Juszczyk to get a reception his line is 0.5 on Fanduel, and 4.5 yards on Fanduel, but I just love the value we have for the touchdown.
